It’s funny but this one is probably the easiest one for me to follow. It feels natural to talk about the things uppermost in my mind. Talking about them after the fact, i.e. after the book is published is an effort. 🙂

    • Remember, the goal is to build a long-term following. Especially with sequels, any interest you generate in this book will (should) lead to your first book.

If you need to press that notion, if only to yourselves, you can add something to the effect of “If you can’t wait, check out…”

Ugh, that one is a problem. So many of the people who read my blog regularly also happen to be people who’ve read book 1. Guess I’d better go do some more work on my goodreads presence.

      • That’s actually a good thing. It means those who read your blog regularly have already “bought into you,” so to speak. The blog works! That’s good.

Getting more of that kind of traffick to your blog and your other social media avenues will take time. If you invest yourself in those as you’ve invested yourself in your blog they will work also. 😉 Hang in there my friend. You’re getting there.

-hugs- Thanks. 🙂 I am starting to meet some very interesting people on Goodreads so I know you’re right.
