The trailer you are about to watch was one of the “promoted” trailers that came up when I typed in “book trailer 2013.” I’m glad it was. Watch to see why:
As you undoubtedly saw, this trailer has everything a good trailer should:
- Character introduction
- Plot introduction
- Mix of visuals and text
- Compelling sounds and effects
It’s also a video trailer, but it’s not done in a way that suggests a movie-style budget. The camera shots and acting is professional enough to count as a positive, but also inexpensive enough to be attainable for independent authors.
What does an example like this spark in your imagination?
